at Eltham on 14th May 2006 A full but revamped team made their presence well known at the Eltham
Pools for the 7th round of the Tudor League and what a good performance
they put in.

in the club office within the fitness pool at the Arches. Latest items
are the light blue hooded sweatshirts with club badge.

| QuizNight |
GSC is holding a quiz night from 7-10pm on Saturday 21st April at
James Wolfe primary school. Please
bring any alcohol, soft drink and food that you may require. Tickets
are available in the club office £5 each,under 16‘s free.

| IntraClub Gala |
On Friday 27th April GSC is holding its second intra-club gala,
postponed from before Easter, at The Arches. All groups are involved
and swimmers are allocated to one of four teams. Swimmers should arrive
by 5.45pm.

Jack Petchey Scheme |
Greenwich Swimming Club has been successful in being accepted, from
September 2006, for inclusion in the Jack Petchey Achievement scheme.
Each month one club member will be selected to receive an award in recognition
of effort, endeavor and achievement.

Set over 3 weekends in Feb and March GSC entered 6 swimmers. We
came home with 14 medals, 6 Club Records, 20 Personel Best times. Nicola
Buchanan achieved County Champion in 50 Fly & a National QT in 50
free. Tilly Evans won 5 medals.

Angus MacFadyen, member of Greenwich Swim Club masters, is training to achieve his goal of swimming the English Channel to raise money for charity to bring clean water to deprived areas. Please take a look at his progree and think about a donatation through his website. |
